![]() Storage sheds Aroona has many uses and it can be a nice place to be your workplace. If you spend a lot of time in your shed and want to make it more comfortable then insulating the shelter is the answer. So how do you insulate your shed? We take a look at the most cost-effective ways of insulating your shed. Bubble wrap insulation. Insulate your shed simply just with bubble wrap. It is a good insulator and the cheapest and easiest way of insulating your shed. It is easy to fit bubble wraps in every panel of the shed. Cut to size and then just tack it straight to the framing. Do it in the framing and not in the cladding to create an air gap. Tin foil insulation. If you are looking for another option that looks a little better then use tin foil to insulate your shed. Use foil-based bubble wraps, which you can find from any good DIY stores. Pre-cut to the size of the shed panels, fit them in and attach them. Use a stapler to fix it to the shed panels. Once fixed to the panels, you now have a basic insulation source. The next step is to place an MDF sheet of fibre board on top of the foil-based bubble wrap. This will provide added insulation and better finishing touch. Cut the board to the size of the panel, fit it in place then tack it or nail it back into the framing. That completes the insulation of the shed. It is also important to note that a lot of heat is lost to the floor. So ideally it is better to insulate your shed before you construct it so you can put something under the floor. Comments are closed.
